Not Paid for work done! Ripoff, dishonest, untrustworthy, unreliable, scam

I began working for Alyson (Aly) in November. Things started to go bad in Feb. Of 2006. That is when my first cheque bounced. Prior to that cheques were sent on time.

She explained that at that time she had issues with a person claiming that Alyson was being fraudulent (see earlier claims on this site about Alyson). I gave her the benefit of the doubt, continued to work for her in hopes that if I kept some sort of working relationship she would pay me if full.

On several occasions after that she became delinquant with paying me up to date. She always had an excuse; waiting on cheques from clients, Waiting for those cheques to be cleared, the cheques will be sent on Monday.

I always had a good working relationship with Alyson and had great communication from her. However, once her finacial problems started she would limit the contact she had with me. If two or three invoices were outstanding then I could be sure that she would not return my phone calls or emails unless I had a question about a project and then she would avoid any conversation about the overdue money.

I had hoped that everything would work out between Aly and I as I enjoyed the work and the flexiblity. I believe that I preformed to Alyson's standards as she never spoke ill of me and only had praise for my results as is evident from email sent to me from her. To date she is still owing me $1150. I hope some day to see it.
