Ripoff I was ripped off by a Half.com seller and Half.com will not respond to my claim

I was ripped off by a Half.com seller and Half.com would not respond to my claim. Half.com has made it impossible to reach them directly. I am a long time ebay seller and half.com buyer. I have excellent feedback on all my transactions.

Additioanlly, I have been an advocate for Half.com as many of my friends like movies, CD's and books and are also in favor of recycling resources to conserve environmental resources.

Unfortunately, the "File A Claim" process with Half.com seemed to me to be purposely impossible to include the necessary information but I perservered. My Account information says I have filed a claim but I have had no response, and no item from seller.

Conveniently, Half.com has no communication venue. I searched both my Ebay and Half.com accounts for a way to inquire about the resolution of my claim but found none.

The messages I received from the seller simply say "too busy to deal with", "I'll get back to you". That's more than I am able to get from Half.com. Noresponse and no way to contact them.

In the meantime, I am out about 22.00 for a CD I never received. My preference was to receive the CD I purchased but in lieu of the CD, I would accept a refund.

I typed "I got ripped off by Half.com" in my search engine only to find out that this seems to be a frequent occurance. Anyway, I wanted to tell other people that contrary to my initial promotion of the service, I realize now that Ebay and Half.com
do not protect me in any way against fraudulent sellers.

Who will protect me from fraudulent companies like Ebay and Half.com? If anyone knows a way to contact them, let me know. I would also be interested in any information as to how to persue my claim.

At least this service is available to victims of large companies. I will now be an advocate of this website so that buyers know to beware.
