Fraudulent billing ripoff

I'm not sure what type of services Universal Accounts Services performs. I believe they are an ACH debiting account business as well as a collection agency. However, they purchased an original contract I had with Nationwide Computers (a company that apparently no longer exists) and is attempting to charge more money then the original terms of the contract with Nationwide Computers.in other words, they are trying to rewrite the original contract and would have me paying almost 400 in interest that was not included on the original contract for a computer I was buying in 2004. I have paid off the original debt and now, Universal Accounts insists that I owe more for interest when my contract with Nationwide states I was responsible solely for the amount listed on the contract.

I have tried with little success to seek a resolution in this matter with Universal Accounts. They are argumentative and rude at least that was the case with the so called supervisor. Ultimately, because I have paid more then what I owe on the original contract, I refuse to give Universal any more money and have stopped automatic ACh deductions. What's to stop them from continuing to debit my checking account since they insist on tacking on interest that was not included in the original contract?

I urge all who want to buy a computer and don't have good credit, to save up their money and buy a pc. This has been a costly lesson and not one I would suggest anyone pursue—that is don't rent a computer and definitely do not go online and buy a computer through these fly by night enterprises who charge exorbitant fees for equipment that is worth probably 700, but certainly not over two grand.
