Misleading ad, you think you 're getting free cds, ripoffs

Internet & Web

I answered an ad for a free cd (software programs for computers). Then it went directly to another page. It then tells me I get three more. All for only paying shipping and handling. I filled in the cds, hit the send button.

They sent the cds. Hit my credit card. I thought it was over. Cds are bootleg quality. Looks like they were copied and stickers put on.

A month later they hit my card again for 49.90. When I called they said, I agreed to the terms of use, which you cannot see. It's at the bottom of the pages, very tiny.

If you would hit this, if you knew what it meant and if you actually looked that far down that page, you would have to go through tons of writing to find where you will be charged.

This is fraud and misleading. I have contacted the Texas State Attorney General ON THE WEB! Fill out complaint form. If they got you, you need to do this. Don't let them get away with it. There are many reports on here for this same company. Don't feel dumb. You re honest people who trusted a company, not dumb.

Get them back. Put tham out of business! Contact the same place i did! Don't get mad, get even!!!
