Ripoff

I was contacted by a Cecil Simmons at "Proffesional Business Services".in a professional manner this person proceeded to give me a high pressure sales talk telling me that my website would pop up whenever a person did a search that included certain key words.

She demonstrated this with me online and had me follow certain steps so that indeed, it seemed to work! I was thrilled. However the price was steep - $3000!!! I stated I did not have the money and they suddenly had a special price for me. Told me that for $1000 I could still get a good deal, but that at this price it would not last. I had to make a decision immediately.

The next day my key words were poping up my website! But unfortunately only on MY COMPUTER! I called many other individuals who using my key words attempted to have my web site pop up on their computers, but it NEVER WORKED.

I immediately put a stop check order at my bank and reported this to the police dept. However since then I have been receiving phone calls from this company. Today I received a fax that states that if I don't pay within 10 business days they will turn my account over to collections on July 10!! They are DEMANDING that I pay them what I owe them!

When I told the lady what had happened and why is it that the pop up window only shows up on my computer she refused to answer me and went round and round the bush about how I hadn't paid them and that by Nevada law I was liable and that they would proceed criminally against me.

I am on my way to the police dept right now to follow up on this.
