I purchased an Averatec laptop. With in the first year I began having problems. The fan went bad followed by the motherboard. This was not covered under warranty because by the time I finished arguing with them I was a few days beyond the warranty period. Averatec also makes the customer pay the shipping and handling even if the system is covered under the warranty. I was assured that the repairs would take between 3-5 days. 21 days later and several lies (from tech support managers) I received a call from the repair shop. One thing is clear. Averatec makes total junk, fails to stand behind their product and takes advantage of their customers. Take my advice stear clear of the crap they produce. Unless you just enjoy a good fight. 2 thumbs down.
