Internet Providor ripoff failure to honor request of discontinuation of service

Trial internet with peoplepc for $4.94/month. Requested four times to discontinue service. 1st call = continued to persuade me to keep the service. I still refused! Service was not cancelled. 2nd call = Person insisted that I keep the service and hung up on me. 3rd call = Person totally ignored the request and hung up on me. 4th call = I informed the person that if they did not cancel the service I would report them to consumers protection, finally I was given a confirmation number to disconnect service. These calls were made in for days before I got results. They should understand that "No" means "No"
