Ripoff Artists stole over $200 in charges smaller then $8! Marina Del Rey, California

I am writing this letter on behalf of my wife, who has been ripped off by a fradulent company known as PAYCOM. (dot) NET*.

We have been noticing a drain in the available credit of her prepaid credit card, on which her pay check is direct-deposited. So, she called and listened to her recent transactions.

She started hitting buttons on the phone, frantically punching number after number, in an attempt to listen to several transactions repetedly. She then grabbed a notebook and pen, and started jotting down names and numbers.

One of them has shown up repetedly, and when her transactions were listened to far back enough, has taken out over $200.00 (USD) in the past 4 months (that was as far back as she could go). And all in $7.95 charges.

We have not taken action yet, since I wanted to research it first. She will be calling in the morning, however, and is in fact quite irate that our credit card company isn't opened right now.

I just want people to know. If there are small charges on your card, don't just write them off as, "Oh, (-insert name here-) must have bought something and forgot about it." Check each and every charge to your card, be it pre-paid, debit, or plain credit.
