Wired Plastic
Will not return funds to me for unauthorized charges stating the reason I did not secure my card. My card information was stolen by a previous roommate while I was sleeping. Ripoff

I reported unauthorized charges made on my Wired Plastic account on March 8. The charges were made on March 6, only a few days before I discovered them. I faxed Wired Plastic the amounts of the unauthorized charges, along with a police report number, the name of the investigating officer and his phone number. Wired Plastic has denied placing the funds back into my account stating an absurd reason that I "did not properly secure my debit card."

What?!? The person who stole my information was a previous roommate of mine who got the information from my wallet while I was asleep. Even with a police report and an investigation done by an officer who could easily verify I did not make these charges, Wired Plastic has been anything but helpful. The money stolen from me came from FEMA. I am a victim of Hurricane Katrina who currently lives in New Orleans, and desperately need this money to pay the outrageous rent costs down here.

I consider Wired Plastic to be an accessory to the crime by ex-roommate committed.
