Ripoff sent me a fake replica handbag and then refused to credit my credit card when i returned the item

I called the company Trendsforless.com because they said they had COACH handbags that seemed like a good deal. The prices were somewhat comparable to the prices of retail COACH handbags so I thought that it seemed reasonable to assume that they were a legitimate company. When I called I was told that the prices were so low because the bags were "factory rejects" and that they were completely authentic.

I ASKED AND THEY TOLD ME THE BAGS WERE COMPLETELY 100% AUTHENTIC. So I asked my boyfriend to purchase one for me for my birthday.

PROBLEM # 1: They billed my boyfriends credit card for double to cost of the handbag. When I called them, they said they would correct the mistake. It took approximately 48 hours for them to correct this.

PROBLEM # 2: It says that if you pay $15.00 for shipping the handbag would be shipped to you in 3-5 days. Well I purchased the bag on a Friday, I did not receive it until Wednesday, a week and a half later. And way after my birthday.

PROBELM # 3: When I received the bag, it was so lightweight I knew it wasn't authentic. It also had different color stitching then the original bag from COACH. I didn't want to assume that I was a fake, so I took it to the COACH store to compare the two.
The sales assistants in COACH laughed at how poorly the fake bag had been put together. The difference in costs between the Authentic COACH bag and the replica was about $50.00.

PROBLEM # 4: In order to return an item to this company, you have to send them an email and then wait for a confirmation email with a return number. The catch is that TRENDSFORLESS.com also has a 7 day return policy. If they do not receive your return within 7 days from the day you returned it, then they won't refund your money. I immediately emailed them the same day I received the handbag for a return approval. They were slow to reply. It left me 4 days to return the handbag, so I had to send it 2 day UPS and pay for tracking a receipt.

PROBLEM # 5: I've been waiting for over 8 days to receive my return and they still have not credited my boyfriends credit card. I told them I was going to report them to the Better Business Bureau and The New York State's Attorney's Office as well as Ri-Off Report.com, but I still haven't heard anything.

It's a shame they couldn't just tell people that there bags are replicas. There are a lot of people who don't mind buying cheap handbags.
