I signed on to roommates.com to rent out a spare room, I had already been contacted by some scam artists from *.com.

I filled out the profile and when I recieved responses it made you pay for a 5.99 3 day trail, well I payed it. I entered my card # and was told that it declined, thinking this was odd I contacted my bank, they informed me that it was not truly declined and that roommates.com had charged my card 4 times! I have written to them over and over and they will not respond!
