Fraudulent Billing After Cancellation ripoff

While doing my taxes tonight (4/13/06) I noticed that I was being charged for AOL online. I went back through all the years statements and lo and behold I had been charged all year.

Before I go further, let me explain that my sight is limited, reading small print bank statements is not easy and I avoid it as much as possible.

I had signed up for AOL free trial in July. I cancelled serivce within the trial period. I called AOL tonight. I have been being billed since 2003! Granted, I accept the resposibility for not finding this out sooner. But I did cancel—with a representative by the name of Eric.

AOL could care less. They just kept trying to keep me as a "customer". I asked if they showed one single time I had logged on to AOL since my free trial expired. They had not record of me using the service. They have stolen nearly $1000.00 from me during this period. A felony in most states.
