Rhapsody
Real ripoff on purchased music tracks

Internet & Web

I have an unlimited paid subscription to Rhapsody.in order to use the songs or burn them to a cd, you are instructed to purchase the tune for 89cents.

So, in addition to my paid subscription, I "purchased" some tracks that I wanted to use for a project. Once downloaded I discovered that the songs are in a protected file format. After numerous calls to the tech support phone, I was told that the only way to change the format was to burn the songs to a cd and then attempt to upload them again as an MP3 file.

Ugh! I've technically paid for each track twice, yet I am still unable to use the music. This just seems wrong.
