Bait and switch, then theft when I did not knuckle under Ripoff

On February 28, I ordered ClickBook 9 from Blue Squirrel Software. I ordered this software through THEIR site, with THEIR form, which linked me to PayPal with THEIR information and fees automatically entered in. I had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with ANY aspect of the fee calculation whatsoever, and in fact my only relationship to the fee was that I paid it, as it was charged to me. I received a receipt informing me that I would soon receive ClickBook 9, shipped via US Mail with Delivery Confirmation.

One week passed. Then two. Then at week three, I decided that I should email them and get some delivery confirmation information. I emailed Blue Squirrel on Monday, March 20, right at three weeks beyond the date that they actually received my payment. One day passed, then two, then three with absolutely no reply whatsoever. So, on Thursday, March 23, I emailed them AGAIN. One day passes, then two, three and four, and finally on March 27 I get an email from Blue Squirrel claiming that I "did not send enough money to cover the full cost of the software", and that they had "tried to call me, " but that my "FAX machine kept picking up".

OK, so this is where I stand: I pay them THEIR asking price, calculated and entered into the form automatically by them, and they decide that they want more money. They say that they tried to call me, but since the line was FAX occupied, they opted to simply keep my money and do nothing more despite the fact that they had my email address and USPS address, too! Then, after three weeks, I have to email them TWICE to finally get an answer A FULL WEEK AFTER MY ORIGINAL EMAIL!

There is no doubt in my mind that they simply intended to keep my money, and then if I did question the fact that they did not ship what I paid for (which I obviously would do), that they would try to extort MORE money out of me. I have emailed them back several times in the past few days, and I have not gotten one single peep more from them. It's bizarre... Open, outright, bald-faced theft is what it actually is.

Now, I have no doubt that Blue Squirrel will attempt to twist the truth here with a rebuttal, so let me chop that off at the kness right now: I would be much more than happy to furnish copies of proof of EVERYTHING that I am saying here.

Also, when someone takes my money and does not deliver what was promised, that makes them thieves in my opinion. I can't stand a thief, not one bit, and the mere term "theif" is about as defamatory and deragatory in my mind as a term can be! If ANYONE called me a thief in spoken or especially written word, I would IMMEDIATELY file a slander or libel action in the court of proper jurisdiction... Unless, of course, I really WAS a thief, because an absolute defense to a charge of slander/libel is if the defamatory statements published in spoken or written word are in fact true, it is NOT slander/libel. Now, watch this...

Blue Squirrel Software is a corporate thief. I proclaim it loud and proud, and I say it with every intention of keeping others from patronizing them, and thereby possibly saving these potential future Blue Squirrel customers from becoming customers, and then by virtue of that, possible victims much like myself.

Now... There it is. My advice to you is that if I file this report, and Blue Squirrel rebuts it, there is only one way for you to tell who is being truthful and who isn't. I say put your money and your proof where your mouth is. I am ready, willing, and 100% able to defend every single thing that I say here. And, if I am lieing, I have opened myself up to some serious consequences, but rest assured none will be forthcoming. Like I said, the truth is an ABSOLUTE defense to any charge of libel or slander, and being cloaked in the truth, I am immune to any charge those thieves could dream up!
