Etal ripoff, unauthorized charges to my credit card

I responded to an email about a business opportunity offer to sell credit card processing to businesses. The email linked to web pages describing the offer parameters and referred to a $5000 "sign on bonus". It required me to enter my personal demographics on the lead page. Then it asked for my credit card info to pay for S&H to send my agency kit and sign up papers. Note*Sign up Papers.in order to get the info needed to review the opportunity, I had to enter my credit card info, or simply "X" out. Desiring to furhter investigate, and reasoning that the $2.87 charge was in line and much better that most of the Internet rip-offs that charge $9.95 or more, I decided, Why not?

Three days after I recieved the agent package, the scam began to materialize by Bankcard U charging my credit card for $34.95 labeled "Legal Services". Since I was not expecting any more charges and the sign up paper work authorization had not been review, let alone sent, the bogus charge caused my cc balance to go overlimit causing a $39 overlimit fee.

When I called the number referenced on the charge, It rang incessively with no answer, numerous times over two days. I began to smell a rat, so I went to the website shown on the paper work. This is an elaborate hoax, appearing to be legit, with all the bells and whistles of a proper business. I screen printed and then sent emails to all the email addresses listed on the website. They all bounced back as undeliverable, recipient unknown.

I looked up on the info pack that listed "Wells Fargo Bank" as the parent company, so I reasoned that Wells Fargo is a legtimate company, and so I sent a copy of the email to them. After waiting another day, I sent an email to the Corporate Board of Wells Fargo. I recieved a very polite email back within hours from an official of Wells Fargo with regrets that I was having trouble and lamenting on the criminal acts of Internet scam artist, in particular those criminally using the Wells Fargo name. He has to be copied back with any information I discover in trying to resolve this problem, so I beleive that Well Fargo is a victim too.

The Internet is like a big school of fish, feeding on itself. Scum, low life vultures prey on innocent, idealists just trying to practice the human dream of entrepreneural pursuits. It is not an American Dream alone, all mankind seeks the ability to earn for themselves and their family is some way.

Unfortunately there are far too many worm dirt, satanic piles of human extrement out there always trying to find short cuts to prosperity. If you ever meet one, they are recognizable by looking into their eyes; you can see the back of their heads because the have no soul.

I advise you to avoid BankCard University and Impact Processing like the Bird Flu! May they die a fast and painful death and rid the world of a few walking shells with nothing inside.

This rip off report system is a great first step in helping to clean up the Internet. This type of self governing of the industry is sorely needed, before the governments decide to take over and really screw things up. It would be good to figure out a way to become better known though. I've been surfing the Internet for 10 years and the first time I knew about this was only 3 days ago. The other BBB is just a lacky organization of the business community.

Again, I advise you to avoid BankCard University and Impact Processing.
