Will Swindle You! Is this an internet fax service that you should not use, ever! Ripoff!

Faxmicro.com is an internet company who provides an internet fax service. Here is what they don't tell you. When you sign up it says on their ad that they will give you one free fax number and state the fax number is a local number. I signed up only to find that their fax number is not a local area code for my own area. The fax number they issued me starts with a 805 area code and my area code is 954. I immediately cancelled my account when I found this out.

Later I found out that in order to cancel, you have to download their cancellation form and fill in about a million answers. I then faxed the form to them. Two days later I see they billed my credit card and never noticed a refund. I sent 5 emails to their billing department and to date, they have not responded.

I spoke to their live chat agents, about 4 of them, who insured I would get a refund. I still didn't receive it. Then I called them and the agent claimed they didn't get my cancellation fax. Now I had to fill out the form with another million questions. I faxed it again.

It has been over two weeks and I still didn't get a refund. I called again. The agent said that she would issue me a credit and said the $10 set up fee wasn't refundable but she would refund my $4.95. I told her that her company never set up my account because I cancelled immediately. She said she still would not refund it. She also stated their was no notes on my account that showed that I ever called.

Faxmicro.com site says they are out of Florida but this a call center that is located in India. I probably will never see my money. Don't use this service. Their phone number is: 866-311-1055.
