Dishonest sales, disceptive contract, rude service

First, their sales were very aggressive in signing you up. They would say anything to make you feel it is safe signing up. They told us it is risk free in that we are able to get full refund anytime we want.
But this is not true as we later cancelled the contract and wanted to get our refund.

Then, there was the delayed and very rude service. We sent them an email with information they needed to do our SEO. We even called them immediately after to confirm about the email. 1 whole week passed, we called back to check the progress, Ivan there told us to email them the information again since they havent received it. I asked him why didn't they contact us if they didn't get the email, he said the person in charge of our account was transferred to a diffrent department (still not answering why didnt they contact us). When I pressed on why didnt they call us earlier about this email, this Ivan quickly mumbles something like "i will check with xxxx about your email" and suddenly hung up.

When i called back again demanding to speak with Ivan about what happened, another person (some senior consultant) said Ivan has "declined" to answer my call. She also claimed that there was a disconnection in the network (whatever that means).

By now, we were fed up with their words, and we wanted to terminate our contract. We were transferred to a "billing officer". We told him we were unhappy about their attitude and service and we want to terminate the contract and get our money back. He refused. We took out our contract and it says

"either party may terminate the contract within 30 days by giving notice..." (it was less than 2 wks from when we signed the contract)

The smartest billing officer replied yes, you can terminate the contract, but we cannot issue you refund. I asked why not, he said the contract "clearly" states that we cannot do refund. I asked him where does it say no refund, he said it does not say we DO refund. I told him his sales people told us it is risk free using their service and we can get full refund anytime. He said the sales people are adviced to do anything necessary to make their sales, and that he has no control over what the sales people say. He then adviced me that I need to "read between the lines" or that i should have had an attorney look over the contract before i sign.

I tried to settle this issue with him, but unsuccessful. We are now forwarding this case to BBB and waiting for a reply. If you are thinking about working with uswebsitebuilding.com, please please please think many times before you sign. Go search for reviews about the company, i m sure it wont hurt.
