Ripoff internet search list

Received a call demanding payment for a year's worth of internet site services that was "past due". Asked to confirm our address and we received a bill for $379.00. We are a small auto service shop, so we knew we neither signed up for an internet site nor had such a outstanding balance for an internet service.

I took a look at the www.absearchsite.com. My business name, address, and phone number was listed with a link to mapquest. I googled my business to see if the site would appear as a listing - it didn't. Neither did any information about American Business Search. Basically the site provides nothing than a free yahoo yellow pages listing offers. And yahoo at least has a sophisticated search.

I have reported them to the Better Business Bureau (they already have 106 complaints since July!). It appears that the www.absearchsite.com was established in March (according to Internic), so I'm not sure how American Business Search can claim I have 1 year of service including a past due invoice. I'm getting calls from them weekly.
