Ripoff Not Rated E everyone as they Claim to be! Internet

For almost 6 years I have enjoyed playing on a game site called Slingo.com (until recently). It claims to be a Rated "E" (everyone) site. Games for even younger chidren.in which it includes the access to the message boards.

Anyway, I usually go to the "Message Boards" for tips, recipies, contests, etc. I came across one of the existing players replies. I noticed that on "all" of his replies under his nickname there is a small (light blue) link below the word Survivor. (JAQTY) For all to have access to even minors on the boards.

Soooo, I decided to click on it to see what it was all about. At times the player had some really good ideas and tips concerning the games. So I thought maybe the link would direct me to a page that had some of his ideas concerning tips on the games. Now keep in mind this link is included with "all" of his replies/request on the message boards for "all" to view.

When I clicked on it I was brought to "just" this "one" page. I was shocked! The filthy language content was just awful! It pertained to another (female) player. But that wasnt my concern, it was the "easy accessibilty" for younger people to view on the Slingo.com message boards if they clicked on it.

I emailed the site to explain to them concerning the problem. I even sent screenshots for them to view for themselves, and "never" received a response.

My next step was to post a message on the boards in hopes that one of the Leaders or Hosts would reply concerning the filth that the younger players would be able to view so easily.

Boy was that ever a mistake! I was being attacked from all directions from other players replies being accused of having a heart full of hate. (speaking of hate read what the player had posted, which I included the screen shot). But I also had several positive responses defending my complaint feeling the same as I had. And has some of the players request that their account be closed also.

Then I was accused of knowing the player that he was degrading. (Had no idea who the was he was speaking of so rudely). Then I got one from another player that stated she had a major in criminal justice and that player was doing nothing wrong but speaking his opinion (freedom of Speech). And yes he does have freedom of speech. But at least use some discretion and don't post the link for all young viewers to access and read.

And there were some that replied and stated that they saw nothing wrong with it. And that they have seen kids in the rooms say worse. (and yes those are the children that are not monitored by an adult or parent)

So my reponse to them was since they saw nothing wrong with it. Then sit their young child or grandchild down in front of the computer and let them read it! And of course I never a got a response from that statement.

Couldn't get thru their thick heads the point that I was trying to get across was the way they went about it. And how easily it was for minors to have access to.

Shortly after I finally figured it out that Slingo wasn't going to respond to my complaint. I requested that my account with them to be closed.

The Slingo game site in my opinion is not a rate "E" (everyone). If we as adults don't stand up the for children that arent monitored whether their parents or working etc. Then who will?
