ESPN.com
Insider ripoff, scam, fraudulent

Internet & Web

I signed up for a 2 week free trial to Espn.com Insider subscription. I canceled within 2 weeks to avoid having my credit card charged. However, my credit card was charged anyways. I attempted to log in to check the status of my membership. But it would not let me log in. I called the number that was on my credit card statement, but could not get through. Either there was a busy signal, they were closed, or I was put on hold indefinitely. After 2 months passed, I was charge on my credit card again. This time, I called Espn.com as soon as their offices opened up at 9AM EST. I was still put on hold for over 20 minutes. When I was finally able to get through to them, I explained my situation, but they would not refund my credit card.
