EBay Seller jimsanimaltraps EBAY SHOULD SHUT HIM DOWN

I'm so freaked out I can't sleep.

I'll try to condense this...

I bought a product on eBay. Paid IMMEDIATELY via PayPal.

Two weeks went by and no product.

Contacted seller for a status of delivery. He stated that he had been sick for a week and would check into it.

Two MORE weeks went by and still nothing and no e-mails.

I e-mailed him again and he said he mailed it, gave me a tracking number. I looked it up and it said "... Expecting delivery...".

According to the post office, that means that he made a shipping label online and hadn't dropped it off or sent it yet.

I contacted him again and he said he would ship out another product and gave me another tracking number.

I looked it up two or three times a day for a few days and it said the same as the other.

This person already had 4 negatives in a row claiming non
delivery.

I wrote to all four members and we exchanged thoughts and info.

None of them had recieved the product OR a refund.

I thought for sure this guy was lying to me so I wrote a rather nasty negative feedback. "WARNING Do not buy. He'll stiff you.
Ebay should shut him down.

The seller read this and now says he is going to sue me.

Three more negatives stating "stiffed" "don't buy" etc. FOLLOW mine.

Well, today the package showed up. It's also on the USPS site as having been checked into my local post office.

I went straight down there and they said that it should have shown up online within 24 hours of being recieved at the point of origin and were at a loss as to why it did'nt.

The FIRST shipment still shows "... Expecting..." as if it had not been mailed.

I'm horrified.

I checked and rechecked all of my information before posting that awful stuff. I was CONVINCED that the guy was lying and for whatever reason was screwing people over.

I had proof.

Now I've got nothing but stress.

What do i do?

Does he have a good case for libel?

Any help at all would be appreciated more than words can say.
