Well, a few months ago I saw a very interesting ad for a brand new computer for only about $40 every other week, regardless of credit situation. I thought this was awesome, so I gave Blue Hippo a call. I was roped in with upgrades and stuff, and by the time I was done ordering everything, they had my checking acct number and all for bi-weekly debiting.

I was told after my first $99 debit, my computer would be sent within 2 weeks, and after that I would be debited around $50 every other week. After I got off the phone, I thought about everything and talked it over with my husband, and we both decided that maybe it wasn't a good idea to jump into getting a new computer when we already had other bills to pay.

So, not even 12 hours after placing my order, I called to cancel and thats when everything started. These people told me I'd have to, get this, FAX my concerns to the billing dept to get my checking acct info taken out. FAX!!! Can you believe it? They said the billing dept didn't have a phone! I got so upset and frustrated that my husband had to deal with them.

They told my husband that I would still be charged the $99 deposit, because it was non-refundable. My husband said nobody had told us it was non-refundable. They stated that I had entered a "verbal" contract with them. So, my husband says "Well, verbal contracts don't mean diddly." So, after hours of trying to cancel, we finally got a supervisor on the phone who canceled everything for us.

These people tried to pull one over on me and I did not appreciate it. I only wish I had looked on this web site BEFORE doing business with them.
