I attempted to register to send free greeting cards on ezgreets.com. As part of what I thought was the greeting card registration, a bunch of offers popped up. I declined all of these, and yet I received an email from New Residential Voice Mail Service stating that I had registered for their service and would be billed through my local telephone bill. The email contained a link to a website on which I could supposedly cancel, but repeated attempts yielded the error message, "Page not Found." No other contact information was provided. I contacted my local telephone service provider, and they said that I could contest the billing if it later appears on my bill. I never wanted nor intended to register for this service and think that it is fraudulent for this company to sign unwilling individuals up and then provide a false contact for cancellation.
