Residential Voice Mail
I was completing a survey on-line and unknowingly signed up for what I thought was a free trial residential voice mail for one month.By e-mail, I was told I'd be charged $16 per month on my phone bill. Ripoff

Shops, Products, Services

While taking a survey where a gift card was offered, I could not move to the next page of the survey until I clicked on one of the choices offered. A free month's trial of residential voice mail was offered.

It was only later in the day, while checking my e-mails, that I read the e-mail from Residential Voice Mail that I would automatically be charged $16 per month for this service and it would be billed to my next phone bill.

I typed in the web address of consumer complaints to cancel this service and was surprsed to arrive there, thinking I would get something directly associated with Residential Voice Mail. So I'm taking time here to report this questionable "free" offer.
I've also called and left a message at the customer service number of the company, 1-866-851-3357.

Thank you for any help with this matter.
