Prosper, PMG Private Mentoring Group
Ripoff Dissatisfied with program and have requested a refund of investment

Internet & Web

I joined Prosper after talking with Nathan Curtis who led me to believe I would be one of there sucessful stories. I could easily obtain my goals of making an additional 100K in one year. He explained they have a 95% sucess rate with a 5% margin error. I had nothing to worry about as long as I followed there instructions. I signed on in February 05 and realized within a couple of weeks this program is not going to work for me. After informing them of my concerns they put the burden back on me and said I was not committed to the program. I was told they are comitted and to be successful in the program I have to committ.

I gave it another week and continued to follow the instructions of my coach and I kept running in to obstacles, and finding out the ways they tell you to purchase Realestate are very unrealistic. I called Customer Care and originally spoke with Curt Grady to request a refund. He again told me I had only had three sessions, which in not enough time to learn all the ways to purchase realestate. He asked if I could make a cake by putting eggs in bowling water? He then said of course you can't you have to follow the directions on the box and I am not following all the directions. I did not get very far with him and he continued to make me feel like I was the bad guy.

I called back Devin Willis and left a message that was not returned several days later. I called Devin again and asked for a refund and he told me they do not give refunds and they offer a three day return policy that I agreed to. He again said they had committed to the program and that I was a dishonest person because I am not committed. I was charged 6755, which I had to put on two credit cards an AMEX and Visa. I have contacted the credit card merchants and put the charges in dispute. I e-mailed Devin and my coach after the conversation that I wanted out of the program so he has it in writting. I have not received a response to my e-mail. I will continue to ask for credit back, but will also pursue other options.

If you are a person who has plenty of cash flow, then this would probably be a good program for you. But, if you do not have funds to but down on a house, and have the funds for repair then do not go in debt for this program.

If any of you have been able to receive your money back by disputing the charge I would like information about your situation.

I believe the thing we are all guilty of is the desire of financial freedom and being able to provide for our families. Prosper has taken advantage of that desire and has put many people in a financial bind.

Good Luck to all
