Free laptop scam no replies to email or regular mail, no customer service no gift delivered

Last October I saw the email from Incentive Reward Center to win a free laptop for trying other companies products. I figured I'd choose offers I was somewhat interested in anyway, in case it turned out to be a scam.

So, I got a couple of credit cards, signed up for BMG, signed up for Robert Allen's internet business package, tried a 7 day free trial of a Foreclosed homes search website and subscribed to the NY Times.

I waited the full 8 weeks, to give everybody time to report back in, and only 4 of my 6 offers were reported as completed. I emailed Incentive Reward Center through the "contact us" on their website.

They emailed back once and told me to mail hard copies of my confirmation emails to the address listed on the website. I did so and then waited.

After about 2 weeks, I emailed them again, wanting to know a status update. I got a very innocuous reply reiterating that I had not completed the necessary offers.

During this time, I redid the Bargain Homes offer, and this time it got reported as completed, so now I have 5 of 6 offers, but no confirmation from the NY Times.

I have since emailed 3 more times, each time including a copy of the confirmation email from the NY Times. None of my subsequent emails have ever been responded to.

I even got copies of my billing statements from the NY Times and have emailed again offering to fax those statements to Incentive Rewards Center to prove that I have completed their promotional offer.

Definitely do not buy into this. Fortunately, all I spent money on were some CDs, some information on starting your own internet business and a subscription to a newspaper, all of which I did receive, so I count myself lucky.
