Warning!!! This company is in my book a scam! They gauge prices in a contract for apartment complexes. They charge almost 4 times the amount the competition does. They offer no special offers EXCEPT if you bundle internet, tv, and phone they will give you $5 off... Maybe. They take 60 days to setup auto payments, not sure if they have that in the fine print now but they did not when I signed up. I also contacted them when I noticed my bill was $15 over what it normally was and they said because I did not pay on time when it was the processing department that took over 60 days to set everything up. After complaining over 5 times they reversed the charges but only 1 time. I asked the lady if it was their fault again and she said that I would not be able to reverse the charges even if it were their mistake. Also in the contract / user agreements they have for a month to month payments it states nothing about a 60 day cancellation notice however they will argue and argue and argue that it has it. I asked where in the contract or user agreement, being which article or line it was because I printed them out, and the lady kept repeating that I have to pay it. After all was taken care of and payments were finally agreed on 4 MONTHS later I get a call from COLLECTIONS stating that I have been submitted to them by Direcpath and that I must pay a past due balance or my credit will be impacted. I have paid in full EVERYTHING! I contacted Direcpath to find the issue and find out that because I did not return the PREPAID modem that I was being sent to collections. I told them that I had purchased this modem from them for $100 and that I did not take the option from them to pay for a rental but I purchased it from them. At this point I said I will return the modem to them and get a $0 balance and be done with this Nightmare. Even if you have a past due balance even after the account has been closed they will not contact you but take you directly to collections. I had asked the lady why I had not been contacted and she kept dodging the question by asking if there was anything else to be taken care of. This is only the beginning of this. They have not heard the last of me. I have kept a lot of documentation and will possibly take them to court. This company is a joke!
