Aol Shop Direct is too incompetent to run a business! Ripoff

I had something similar happen to me. I placed an order with AOL shop direct and they immediately withdrew my money, no problem. I had to wait 7-10 days after it shipped to receive this order. It never came. 2 weeks go by and after number phone calls and emails this rolls into a month. I talked to at least 7 different reps there, and 2 Supervisors.

They would give me the standard, " I am sorry for the inconvenience, blah blah blah". They issued a replacement order for the lost order. No Charge. They cancelled that one, after I had been tracking it. No one told them to cancel that order. They enter a 3rd order, replacement, and I did not know this. Upon learning this, I requested that the order be cancelled and my money refunded. They said that they could not do that.

They could not confirm that my order had shipped, and had no way of tracking it, but that they could not refund my money at that time. HUH? Then it turns out they sent to the wrong address and not the one I requested. It did not come to that address, either. They tried to blame me for giving the wrong information. Luckily, I saved my confirmation emails, which showed it was their error. I, once again, sent every email pertaining to this/these orders. I wake up this morning, and I see they FINALLY sent me an email confirming that they have refunded my account.

This was a nightmare. I will NEVER order anything from AOL shop direct again. They are too incompetent. They have Customer Service reps who are not able to communicate with their shipping and scheduling department. Anytime they would run into a snag, and I would call them down on it, their system would be conveniently down, and I would need to call back later.

I am a former Customer Service Manager for a Major Corporation, and I know all of the lingo to appease disgruntled customers. They were, by far, the worst company I have ever dealt with in ordering. I have never had a problem with any other shopping on the internet. Only on AOL Shop direct.
