First Class Books
Sold me a book that was not as described and then wants me to pay for shipping to return it to them

Internet & Web

They sent me a different book than what I ordered. On 12-14-12, I ordered "Foundations of Business" 3rd edition (isbn# 1111580154) from them. However, the book I received was an instructor's edition (isbn#9781133191247) with unsightly "used book" stickers on the front, back, and inside cover; they were trying to cover up the fact that it was an instructor's edition.

The order confirmation that I received from them said that the isbn would be 1111580154. They never stated either on the product description that I read before purchasing the book or on the order confirmation page that it would be an instructor's edition.

Very few companies will buy back a book that is an instructor's edition. Thus I will have a hard time selling this book back when I am finished with it. I am a full-time college student and I can't afford a financial loss like this.

Their customer service representative told me that I have to ship it back to them at my own expense and that they will only refund the price of the book and not the shipping charges that I already paid. Why should I pay more money for something that was not my fault? It was their own deceptive and unethical business practices that caused this entire problem in the first place.
