PPC ripoff

I received a bill for $30 for calls made on 1 Nov at 6:23 P.M. When nobody was even at home at that time on that date. I was also told that addtional fees for long distance calls would appear on my phone bill (not yet substantiated). I do not believe their explanation for these charges and I intend to pursue this matter further with my phone and ISP company. This whole thing sounds like one big ripoff to me.
