Mat Napchen of Digital Gadgets
Www.digitalgadgets.com Wire Transfer Payment Fraud

Our company was contacted by a Mat Napchen with email mnapchen@everything-technology.com in regard to an offer to purchase 75 open box Apple MacBook MD101LL/A for $925 each. We asked if we could pay with Paypal or other escrow service and we were informed payment would only be accepted via wire transfer. We asked for trade references and last 2 years on income tax returns in order for us to extend a credit line of $5,000 that would be sufficient to cover a sample purchase. Mat provided us as reference Shelley Chera at Digital Gadgets. Digital Gadgets has F rating on BBB. Also the website for digitalgadgets.com and everything-technology.com consist of only 3 pages that would take 15-30 minutes to create with Wordpress. We determined conclusively that Mat was attempting to defraud us when we researched a correlation between Everything Technology and Digital Gadgets. We found via google link below that Digital Gadgets was the original registrant for Everything-Technology.net.

Mat included on his email in the CC field a Michael Gammal with email Michael@everything-technology.com. A linkedin profile exists for this person. The profile is bare with 0 connections which further establishes that not only was the website but also this linkedin profile was established by Digital Gadgets in an attempt to deceive us. Digital Gadgets has numerous complaints against them which has led to an F rating on Better Business Bureau. Our research shows they are masquerading as other fictitious company names in an attempt to default computer resellers into making wholesale computer upgrades funded with wire transfer. I feel if I do not report this behavior they will successfully defraud other businesses in the community. I hope anyone who is contacted by them does their research and finds this article which is intended to save businesses from the $50,000 loss that would be incurred if they actually engaged in a wire transfer transaction with this business.
