GetMed 360
Patriot Health Not real insurance, pays nothing, providers do not recognize it

Health & Medicine

First of all, this is not really health insurance. It is a Limited Medical Indemnity plan. I don't know what that is, but I think it means that you pay the cost upfront and they (maybe) either pay you back, if you're lucky, or look for excuses not to.

I bought this for my boyfriend because I was trying to convince him to get a checkup. They sent us a huge list of providers, none of whom recognized the plan. Therefore we never used the services. I'm not trying to pay a pile a money up front and then beg for it back, especially when there is no reason to think we'll get anything back, because the doctor's office has no idea what you're talking about.

These fools charge a hefty "initiation fee" almost as big as a monthly premium. Save yourself the headache, have nothing to do with these people, and if you have no insurance, go ahead and pay out of pocket; better than doing that on top of paying these people for nothing whatsoever.
