Maria Parham Hospital
Negligent in turning in bill now charging me

I had a couple of therapy sessions at Maria Parham in 1998 after an automobile accident. I had attorney's who sent them the information to send all my bills to them in order to determine the settlement amount, and also so they could pay my medical bills first. The hospital neglected to send them at least one of my bills and waited to bill me until the year 2000. I spoke to credit manager at billing dept. And he informed me that I was still responsible for bill. The hospital also took two copays from me this year in the amount of 20 bucks each, and I later found out they were not suppose to.

When I contacted them about this, they agreed that they were wrong to charge me but that part of the money would go onto what was left of the bill from 1998. I have tried to talk to the billing dept about the situation and they have no desire to help me, or admit that they are in fact at fault here and are holding me liable for their erroe. They recieved all of the correct info to turn in the bills or else they wouldnt have been paid for the other bills that were incurred from this same accident.
