University of Pittsburgh Mecical Center "You have allergies to Gold, perfume, soap and your own money!" says the UPMC Dermatology Dept

I'm a sixty year old white man. After getting a skin irritation on my right inner elbow in September my MD and I thought I had a poison ivy reaction from mowing the lawn. After six months of the disease progressing to the other arm, neck and left leg, my MD refered me to the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center's Dermatology Department. After multiple visits their MDs gave tests (valued at $2300.00) on my low back which initiated more skin reactions on my low back, legs and genitalia. Their conclusion was "You are allergic to the gold tooth in your mouth (That had been there for 35 years already), purfume and certain unique soaps." After spending an enormous amount to the dentist to have the gold cap removed my supposed allergy got worse instead of better. I then decided to investigate other possibilities on the internet. Where I self diagnosed myself as having "Shingles", the same virus that 98% of the population gets as children as "Chicken Pox" and reoccurs as "Shingles" at a higher and higher rate as the population grows older. I still have it (although better than before because my MD has given me treatment for that virus). But I had refused to pay the multi-million dollar corporation UPMC for their misdiagnosis and their services. They turned my debts which Medicare didn't pay over to Delaware collection agency, who are still harassing me! UPMC does not respond their patients filing complaints via the internet directly.instead they get nice young woman on the phone who supposedly will send you the proper UPMC complaint form (Which I still havent after two months). Their nightly commercials on TV and radion only continue to irritate me and probably my shongles! Yours truly, Dr B, BS, DC
