Possible scam or fruad I

We called Round Rock Imaging several times to verify their statement that our insurance company would be covering 100% of the costs of our MRI. Each time they said something to the effect of you have nothing to worry about, everything is covered. So after being repeatedly assured we would have no charges we agreed to have one MRI done.

They knew that if there were charges we would not have done the procedure as we did not have the funds to pay for it. They also knew the patient would be drugged during the procedure so they could tolerate the confined space. I guess they have done this before after the patient completed the MRI they had the patient sign a bunch of forms, charged the credit card and had the sales slip signed. The patient remembers none of this as the patient was drugged up! One half of that day is a blank in the patients mind.

This is a breach of their verbal contract and borders on fraud and abuse.
