Trying to get out of paying claim on my baby brothe

Health & Medicine

My Brother passed away November 6th, the death certificate said massive heart attach. He died at home in his basement bedroom. We found him, my husband myself and immediately called 911 but it was too late he was already gone. He was 50 years old. He had never seen a doctor before in his entire life before May.in March I got life insurance for him and my husband. Just enough to bury them if something happened but I never figured it would. I have a life ins. Policy that I took out 20 years ago to take care of Joe (my brother) in case something happened to me. I just had enough to bury him and get a headstone but I'm haveing trouble getting any responce from Globe life. I'm getting the run around. They say since the policy was under 2 years old they have to check it out and it may take up to a year or a year and a 1/2 to reach a decision. Joe's death was hard enough to deal with and it still is, I haven't brought myself to pack his room up yet even though we have to move now now because we can't afford the morgage.
