ICAN Health or Benefit et al
Illegal Robocalling Internet

Health & Medicine

I never heard of ICAN Benefit before today when I got a jarring ROBOCALL telemarketing call with an option to talk to a human being after listening to the long spiel. What is wrong with this?
1. I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST. This company could have gone to the FTC website and screened their phone list but they didn't bother.
2. The robocall did have the real name of the business but did not have a contact number in the body of the message, just press # to opt out.
3. It has been my experience that companies which do not abide my the FTC rules are probably less than stellar businesses.

There website had one phone number to contact an agent. It also had a contact number that was out of order or disconnected. That is not a good sign either. No where on their website could I find an actual physical address. From surfing the web, I gather they are in Boca Rotan in Florida, the infamous home of many skanky companies.
If this company wants to rebut, let them explain the use of robocall telemarketing and not editing their call list with the FTC.

I have filed a complaint with the FTC and the state of California. I hope they get the $16,000 fine per call max.
