Two Drops of Beauty Medspa
Marilyn Capote Does not stand by their promises made with Groupon deal

Health & Medicine

I bought a Groupon deal for this establishment for 20 units of Botox. I know I need 24 units in my forehead so I was curious about the cost of the additional 4 units. On Groupon, there is a question and answer area. 2 other people had the same question as I did and asked the cost of the additional units. The owner, Marilyn C. Answered on TWO questions that the additional units would cost $6.75 per units. Good deal, her answer made me buy the Groupon. I called and made my appointment. Not only did I get a bitchy, condescending woman on the opther end of the phone, I learned that the cost for additional units is actually $12! I read the Q&A to the lovely receptionist and she told me it is $12. I asked to speak with the woman who write the $6.75 price, the owner and received a call back a little while later. I explained that I bought the Groupon based on what she said on the Q&A and she said that the $6/75 price per additional unit is only good if you buy 20 MORE units. You MUST buy the units in increments of 20 in order to get that price, otherwise it is $6.75 per unit. No where did it stipulate that the magical number for the $6.75 price was 20 units. No where. I told her that an ordinary consumer would take her at her word that the additional units were $6.75 as promised by her own words. She didn't care and had the nerve to tell me that it was 'open to intrepretation'. NO! You were clear saying that additional units were $6.75.

This is a classic case of Bait and Switch. I am glad I saved the Q&A section of the Groupon to prove the price promised was $6.75. I called Groupon and reported the business and they gave me my money back. It is a real shame that there are businesses that exist that treat their customers this way. Once the injections were complete, I doubt a woman would argue in a medspa setting about the difference in price. This is not a company to do business with. Can you trust a company to inject you with Botox when they cannot even be honest about their pricing? No, you can't.
