I ordered a small amount of product for about $2. The order taking telephone robot kept asking me to order a larger quantity. I said no every time. After each no, the robot would again try to persuade me to buy the larger quantity. Finally I just hung up after saying no 3 or 4 times

I was sent and charged $140 for the larger amount. I called the company (Pounds Lost, LLC). They said to return the product at my cost and they would refund. I calmly said it was unacceptable that I should pay shipping and that I would instead get a chargeback from my credit card company. The rep asked me to hold and came back on the line saying he had just credited my account and I could either keep or send back the product.

Good luck to all when dealing with such schemes. Stay calm and don't let them get away with anything. The more we as consumers fight this sort of thing, the less profitable it will be.
