Americas Best Contacts & Eyeglasses
No way to run a business. A ripoff

I went to Americas Best Contacts and Eyeglasses in Duluth, GA for contacts, I didnt need glasses at the time. The prices are good but it is not worth the hassle. They gave me a date to pick up my trial pair. I live about 30 minutes from this place so its not just down the road, not to mention the traffic I have to go through to get there. I arrived to pick up my contacts and at first they couldnt find my file. Well it turned out no one had ordered my pair and I had to wait another two weeks. They didnt even apologize.

I came back in 2 weeks when they were received. They said that I had to wear my trial pair before ordered the rest of my contacts and that I had to receive a follow up exam before I could pick up the rest of my contacts.

I came back in another couple of weeks for my follow up exam and was then able to order my contacts. This meant I would have to make another trip to pick them up. I asked if they could mail them to me since it had been such an inconvenience. They said NO! So in all I made 4 trips to this place for a 6 month supply of contacts. To top it off I called about a month ago to have them fax me my prescription, because there was no way I was ordering from them. They said the could not find my file (conveniently), or my prescription. I have the prescription they gave me but it was wrinkled and hard to read. Luckily I kept the boxes and I am going to order from Sam's Club. Unfortunately, I can't think of a positive note in the whole ordeal, and I am anxious to see how long they remain in business!
