The chain posted senior discount of 20% on Thursday June 2 off regular priced items. The regular price for milk at the area stores is $4.19 and stores such as Lasalle honoured this price and applied the senior discount but when I purchased two bags in Amherstburg at 199 Sandwich st. They refused and told me that they put the milk on sale for $4.18 a one cent reduction so they don't have to discount this item for seniors. This is an intentional method to deny giving the senior discount that the other stores gave. I am angry and was made to feel embarrased by this treatment and I intend to complain to the Gov't and the newspapers to find out if this is a chain policy to get around the discount or this store only.
