COMPLAINT INFORMATION: This company notified us that we had a check for $17 to come back, I didn't write the check, my girlfriend did... He kept calling but because he cannot speak english we could not understand his voice mails, we got a letter and a sample lawsuit in the mail (one that he had filed before us), it appears he does this alot... We told him that we would not be in town for a week, but he filed with the courts the very next day, he told us to come pay the check with him and then go to the courts to pick it up... We did and the courts now want to have a court case and a fine of $545, we feel he jumped the gun on us and did not give ample time to clear this up... We feel he does this to collect extra fees. This is not good business for him to do to all his clients. Date occurred: 12-04-01Product/Service involved: Desired Settlement: $545 in cash and an apology.
