I purchased a dark lab created on 3/10/10 to George and Katie (pets). Was told no hip problems. Our 9-month old puppy has REALLY POOR hip dysplasia, that'll need hip replacements in a couple of years. I had been informed by breeder, Dorothy, that there's nothing she may do about that. She says that she's never had a criticism about hip issues previously from the puppies she's offered. Veterans suggest TO PREVENT reproduction if an offspring has hip dysplasia, an extremely unpleasant and costly issue. Our 9-month old black lab walks as an 11-year old with negative arthritis.
