Lynn Trys to collect $39.00 from my daughter while she is in the hospital?

Lynn at Dr.
Sand's office called my daughter while she is in the hospital where she
has been for 5 days, My daughter has been very sick and the hospital
contacted Dr. Sand's office for her records. Lynn called my daughter at
the hospital this morning saying she owes $39.00 and told her she would
ruin her with all doctors by saying she owed $39.00. My daughter has
insurance. She had a Colonoscopy (not by Dr. Sand) at 6AM today and was
sleeping when Lynn called her. Lynn refused to identify herself. I
phoned Dr. Sand's office (I have been his patient) and was told it was
Lynn who called. I spoke to her and she was rude and nasty to me. She
said she did not care if I stopped seeing Dr. Sand. I tried to explain
that my daughter said she does NOT owe him anything, but if she did
would pay it, but why would you call someone in a hospital. She said as
long as my daughter was not critical she could call her. My daughter has
been in horrible pain since Wednesday. The hospital has her on all
kinds of meds. She has two young children at home and her husband will
start a new job on Monday, I told this to Lynn who said she didn't care.
Just pay the $39.00.
This is the office that keeps you waiting up to
two hours for an appointment. They never care that you have better
things to do then sit in a tiny office waiting for the Doctor.
