AcaiPure Detox / Colon Cleanse XR Took 4 months for them to now tell me that I received 2 bottles of Colon Cleanse XR and not just 1 bottle, which is what I actually received. I ordered & paid for 4 bottles

Health & Medicine

11/19/09 - I was directed to their web site, when their web address was attached to an e-mail I received from a relative. My relative did not know that the web address was anonymously attached to her e-mail nor does she know who how it got attached. There was a message about loosing weight with Acai with this address: {http://healthnews6.com/? ID=aMivaRB3-cHN6_top1-gtopsource-d1-kweight_lose}
When I visited their website I read: CONSUMER REPORT
1. ACAI EXPOSED: Miracle Product or Internet Scam?
2. AS SEEN ON: CNN / ABC / 60 Minutes / MSNBC / CBS / Fox News - All Logo's
3. Mary Cunningwood (Health & Fitness Writer w / her picture) made great claims of her test of the Acai Pure Detox and Colon Cleanse XR products in an exclusive report.
4. Offered free trial of these products along with "responses from people who used these products."
11/20/09 - I completed the on line order form along with credit card billing info to receive the free bottle of Acai Pure product and then another screen came up on my computer saying: Your order will ship within 24 business hours - Order No. 647192 and below that info was: CONGRATULATIONS! You've been selected for a limited time special offer: Buy 2 bottles and get 2 FREE! (a $275 value for just $127) of Colon Cleanse XR. You agree to the one time charge of $127.00 to be billed directly to the credit card entered on the previous page. All sales are final for this special offer. At the bottom of the page was the following within a boxed outline: Buy 4 for the price of 2 Now I clicked on that box and my order no. Shown above appeared on a single page.
A few days later, my Capital One Visa credit card company called me to confirm if I had ordered product & charged it to a foreign company? I confirmed I did not know about the foreign company, but yes I ordered the product in question.
I received an e-mail from the company indicating that my order included a Negative Option Clause that meant I was automatically signed up for monthly delivery and billing for the product at $83.95/month, and if I fail to notify the company not to supply the product that would be done. Therefore, on 12/01/09; I called the company [support@ acaipuredetox.com] (877-232-5950) and requested that I did not want to receive the products monthly and requested an e-mail confirmation of cancellation. That same day, I received an e-mail from customer support [support@trialcsr.com] confirming that my "Membership" had been cancelled effective 12/01.
I received the one bottle of Acai Pure Detox (Item# APD30D) but NOT any of the 4 bottles of Colon Cleanse XR that were ordered at the same time.
I checked my credit card statement and discovered that I had been billed the following for these products:
Post date: 11/24/09: Desc: SKINNY YOU 800-232-8803; Charge: $ 4.95 and also on
Post date: 11/24/09: Desc: PEAK DIETING 866-619-8620; Charge: $1.95; and also on
Post date: 11/24/09: Desc: PREMIUM DIET 866-415-3947; Charge: $127.00
So much for the one FREE bottle of Acai Pure - I paid $6.90 for that FREE bottle. I guessed those charges were for shipping expenses and I was not going to make a BIG deal about that amount of money. Why 3 different companies billing for one order? That was strange.

I went to their other website, which I found via a web search on Acai Pure Detox: (http://consumershealthreports.com / and discovered on website on the last page (pg. 5) under Terms and Conditions in paragraph 5 that: The story depicted on their websites and the person [Mary Cunningwood - I presume] depicted in the story was not actually real, rather, this story is based on the results that some people who have used these products have achieved. The results portrayed in the story and in the comments (testimonies after story) are illustrative and may not be results that you achieve with these products. This page receives compensation for clicks on or purchase of products featured on this site. This information was never a part of the original page I went to when and ordered the product note different web addresses. I am now beginning to get suspious and concerned about the creditability of this company and product.
12/18 I called the company about not receiving the 4 bottles of Colon Cleanse and was told they had been shipped and I should have received them. I told them I had received the Acai product but had not received any Colon Cleanse XR and the person (A.J.-?) said they would reship the 4 bottles.
1/05 - I called the company again - I was told by (Brian - #849) that the four bottles had been reshipped on 12/16 and that he would call back within 2 days with the tracking number NO callback received.
1/8 - I called and I was promised (byReg-?) that the product had been re-shipped on 1/6/10 and I should received within 3-5 days.
1/14 - I received a package [postmark: 1/11/10] with only one (1) bottle of Colon Cleanse XR in the package [Item# CCXR30D] from the company - listed as shipped from: Fulfillment Center / 4141 Raymond St. Ste. F / Phoenix, AZ 85040. The packing slip indicated Quantity: 2 (two) and was addressed to Beaumont, NY but with the Beaumont, CA zip 92223. The outside label was correctly addressed.
1/15/10 I called the company and told them I had only received one (1) bottle, not the two bottles indicated on the packing slip nor (4) four bottles ordered and paid for in November. I was told that I should get the other 3 bottles within 1-3 days. Never received!
1/28/10 - I was told that they would resend the other 3 bottles and I should receive within 7-10 days. Every time I called the company I spoke with a different person. Never did anyone tell me that they would not ship remaining 3 bottles.
2/5/10 Called again and was told I had to wait 10 days minimum for the product to be received, I was calling back in 8 days. I should receive the product by 2/8/10.
3/4/10 Called again and spoke with Treman (#5) and was told the product was on back order and would be available again in 4 weeks. I should receive the 3 bottles in question in early April. I asked why the other people I spoke to in the past did not tell me that. He said they were given the wrong information, but his information was the real fact and the truth. I believed him and agreed to wait until April.
4/2 Called again 800-245-2274 I gave the woman my order number, my phone number and my name. She told me she reviewed my file and that I had been shipped one bottle in December and another one bottle in January and they only owed me two bottles, not 3 bottles. I told her I received one bottle of Acai Pure in December and never received any bottles of Colon Cleanse XR in December. She said she knew nothing about Acai Pure, that was a different company and their company had nothing to do with the Acai Pure product.
I could either wait for shipment of those two (2) bottles of Colon Cleanse XR or be given a credit for two bottles ($64.00) against my credit card. I told her that I had only received one bottle on the Colon Cleanse XR and the company owed me 3 bottles of the product or credit for three bottles. I was getting nowhere with her. I was talking to a women with her mind made up with a certain position and I was not going to change her position. She insisted they had shipped two bottles to me and that was that! I was the wrong! (In other words, I was the one lieing)
However, (God being my witness) I only received ONE (1) bottle. I do not know where the other bottle went; it did not come to me. I concluded the conversation with her to give me the $64.00 credit against my credit card and that I would report their company to usacomplaints.com
At this point, I have had it with this company. They have had my money {$127.00} for 4 months and I received only one bottle and not 4 bottles. I was lied to many times by various personal, saying all 4 bottles of the product was shipped, when it was not, saying 3 bottles were shipped when only one was shipped, etc. I believe I have been patient in trying to resolve this problem and delivery issue. They have just lied and lied about the shipping of product. Now, 4 months later, I am told that they only owe me two bottles not 3 bottles. That did it for, I am through with them and their dishonest practices.
I believe this type of misleading information on their websites and by company personal and the failure to deliver product in a timely manner should be reported to state and federal authorities. I demand the return of all of money [$127.00] for this abuse by this company and for all of the time I have spent in trying to get what I ordered. This companys treatment has caused me much aggravation, mental anguish and emotional distress. I demand I be made whole.
