Wrongful dealth

I was promised and also put clear notice on file that family was to be contacted immediately if any condition had changed also my mom was pulled out of ccs unit as soon as we left the hospital, i was never notified until next day at 2pm after she died. When getting to the hospital was only 5 minutes away this was told to the whole staff and doctors. They reinsured me that she would not be moved without my noticed. I also requested she continue all medical treatment, this was not done. When i seen my mother, she was alone with no treatment hooked up and on a which appeared to be a floor with very limited staff and the floor was under construction. I have been with my mom through her whole illness everyday from dec 13 when she was first admitted. South nassau community hospital took our last moments with out mom away, she had to died alone, which we feel the hospital is totally responsible for. The staff has stated " we are sorry, there is no excuses why we did not contact you" a letter will be sent to you with the hospital's apologies. This should never happen to another family member. My mom should have never been alone to die without contacting me. No sorrys can ever make up from what they took from me. This will haunt me the rest of my life. With me at her side would of meant the world to both my mom and myself. I would of known of any distress and i could of comfort my mon.
