Lying manipulative thiefs

This is to warn any poor soul who thinks Lipotherapy is an alternative to Liposuction. Sona Med spa promised this treatment would have similar results yet not be as invasive or painful. They lied. They set you up with 6 treatments, they measure the body part (s) you are having the treatment on, you speak to a "real" Dr who goes through what could possibly happen. All the side effect he listed by the way were glowing reports of how well it worked and i might need corrective treatment to add some filler because so much fat might dissapear. I showed some concern on my 4th & 5th treatment when there was NO reduction in the size of my treament areas. I was assured this would be rectified by my final treatment, I had nothing to worry about. When you go in to discuss the Lipotherapy, they tell you its not that painful, minor bruising. I was bruised black& Blue, it was extremely painful to even have something touching the area treated. I had to wear a tight garment that supposedlly helps "activate" the chemicals and retard the bruising effect. Neither of those things happened. When I had my final treatment and my measurements had not changed they told me to contact the manager and she would assist me. I played phone tag with them for months, I contacted Care Credit to see what help they could offer, vry minimal. I continued to call, and finally was able to speak to the manager, Trish. I explained my displeasure with spending $2500.00 on something that had not preformed its purpose. I told her I wanted $1250.00 back since the procedure was a complete failure. She told me she'd talk to the Dr and let me know. About a month later (all told it was a year after my treatments had started) she called and informed me they could not refund any of my money but they would offer some hot rock thing that supposed to tighten your skin. I thought i was being reasonable, I only wanted half back and they still refused. Every day i think about this and it makes me more and more angry that they could just take my money even though their treament did nothing for me.By now it is probably too late, I am STILL paying it off through Care Credit so its still very fresh io my mind. I think in any good business you should have a recourse when that business fails to do a promised objective. If they fail you should get some monetary compensation for their failure. Sona Med Spa only care about one thing - Ripping off as many consumers as they can for all the money that they can!!! The fact that they are striking in such a sensitive area, Beauty&Self Esteem, just means they are the lowest of the low.
