Trislim Diet, Paradgm Green Tea, Colon Cure Charged $266 on credit card without permission internet

Health & Medicine

About the end of November, I decided to purchase a free trial offer of acai berry and colon cure. The price was shipping only of $5.95 and $2.95 respectively. When reviewing the site it was not obvious that this was a membership that you were signing up for. There is nothing very visible on the website that you are paying for monthly shipments of the product at $74.90 per month. The print is very small and unnoticeable at the bottom of the page.

It wasn't until the first part of December that I was charged $88.55 for 1000 Paradgm Green Tea, $87.77 for Tri-Slim. Then about a week later, I was charged $24.95 and $64.95 for Certified Acai. The total amount of charges were $266.22. This did not include the membership to Live Lean for Life membership of $21.95. This brings the total to $288.17, not including the $5.95 and $2.95 for the shipping and handling for the free trial bottles. If you add those amounts, it comes to $297.07 in charges to my credit card.

I called my credit card company after the first two charges at the beginning of December and told them I wanted to dispute these amounts. They said they would send me a form and got it in the mail. I did not get the form completed, and actually could not remember where I filed it.By this time, there were three additional charges that needed to be dealt with.

I tried to call the companies to get these charges reversed and got no where. They basically said that the charges stand. As for the live lean for life membership, I had to argue with the rep and then the supervisor to get this charge removed. Finally, the said they would do that. Then I called my credit card company again regarding sending me a new form. The woman that I spoke with said that they are familiar with these companies charging accounts with out express permission, and said she would have the four charges reversed. I have not checked to see if the Live Lean for Life have completed there credit, but if it isn't done, then I will call my credit card to see about that charge as well.

The good news is that my credit card company reversed the four charges for $266.22 along with any finance charges for these charges. Additionally, they have blocked these vendors from charging my acct again.

My suggestion is that if you want a good product to use that has acai berry in it or a good colon cleans, go to reputable websites that sell health products like Puritan Pride or Vitacost.

I was fortunate that I did not have to pay nearly $300 for two bottles that were supposed to be a free trial. I only got one other shipment with one bottle in it, but refused it. I never got any of the other products. Buyer beware!!!
