Stole my Written Prescription During an Appointment in

On Saturday January 9, I appeared in the office of Debbie Field, at 1872 Route 88 in Brick, NJ, for an appointment. Upon arrival into the office I was carrying my prescription from a previous visit (Dec. 5).

The prescription was stapled to other papers that had personal and internet passwords that had been written by me. The man with glasses sat down to help order my contacts, and took the prescription and stapled papers.

He walked away with them, and called me into the back office to have a free follow up with Debbie Field, O.D. Once the follow up was complete, the front desk associate relayed I had a balance of 75$ from a previous visit. The visit was covered by insurance. I contacted the billing department and they assured me it was ok and my insurance just had to verify with me my visit.

At this time the lady behind the desk told me I could not have my papers back and that the papers belonged to them!!! They proceeded to tell me that it did not matter if I walked into the office with the papers, and they would keep them until the balance was paid. I was a patient for over 7 years.

*I am hoping anyone who reads this will notice that customer appreciation is lacking in this office, and that deception and ignorance are present.
