Ripoff Testing not authorized

I went to the doctor on March 7 for a routine check-up. I had just moved to another state and the doctor was asking me about my accent. I explained to her that I was divorced because I caught my husband of 10 years having an affair for 3rd time. Anyways we were making small talk. The next thing I know I get $900 in bills from Lab Corp! I didn't know why.

I called them and they stated the doctor ordered all these tests. I called the doctor upset and ask why did you order all these test. She stated that I told her my husband cheated on me so she thought I needed to be tested for STD's. So she took it upon herself to test me without my authorization. She stated she thought I had insurance and this is why she did it, I told her I DID NOT have insurance and I shouldn't have to pay. I contacted Lab Corp and told them as well. They said TOUGH, you HAVE to pay and they will not discuss the matter with the doctor.
